This Week’s Social Post

Hi Team,
This week’s post asks:
What is your opinion of the nasal cannula as an adjunct during intubation?
Most clinicians rely on nasal cannulas for preoxygenation and apneic oxygenation, but don’t realize how quickly oxygen concentration drops just a few centimeters from the tip—meaning very little may reach the vocal cords. This helps explain mixed results in ED and ICU studies.
